Center for Teaching & Learning (CTL)
The Center for Teaching and Learning [CTL] is located in Room L204. The Center cultivates a vibrant teaching and learning culture by providing innovative, high quality, and relevant adjunct and full-time faculty professional development opportunities to facilitate student success. To cultivate a culture of excellence, the CTL focuses on the following goals:
- Identifying best practices for teaching and learning
- Offering continuous targeted and motivating faculty training opportunities
- Intentionally designing programming for faculty at specific career stages
- Developing communities of practice

Accessibility Information Digital accessibility means the capacity for digital resources to be easily navigated and understood while providing equal access to a broader range of users, including those with visual, auditory, motor, or cognitive impairments. At 伊人直播app Community College, we have the responsibility of providing digitally accessible documents. There are resources available to assist you in developing digitally accessible materials. There are resources included here as well as on the Digital Accessibility webpage.
Digitally Accessible Model Courses Model courses that provide digitally accessible course materials are available for a variety of courses. Please consider using a model course if one is available for the course you are teaching. Contact Mike Collins to learn whether one is available for your assigned course(s).

Tutorials
D2L Online Tutorials The CTL and Academic Computing have created “ Online Teaching and Learning ." If it is not, please contact Mike Collins and you will immediately be added to this course as a student. We designed this course to be a resource for all faculty, available 24 hours a day from any location where you have Internet access. It features information ranging from basic D2L instructions to best practices regarding pedagogy. It is not for online instructors only! Any instructor who uses D2L can benefit from the information in this course. In addition, a D2L Certification Course has been added that will provide faculty with the ability to utilize all D2L tools and make course materials accessible. Upon completion of each module, you will complete a quiz. When you score 80% or higher on the quiz at the end of each module, you will receive a certificate of completion for the individual module. Upon completion of the entire course, you will complete a final quiz and receive a certificate of course completion. The Course includes three modules: D2L Basics, D2L Advanced, and Accessibility. Please take some time and look through this course. See if you find the answers to any questions you may have.
